The After-Hours Medical Service is for urgent care, and should not be considered a convenient substitute for routine care provided by your doctor. Your family physician is best suited to manage your health care and is generally available to see you during regular office hours. If you require any medical attention, please contact your family physician first. 

If you are suffering from chest pain or shortness of breath, please go to the closest Emergency Room, or call 9-1-1.

When calling our after hours number, you will be connected to the Phoenix FHO doctor on call or TeleHealth Advisory Services. Should they feel you need to be seen, they will determine the urgency of your concerns and advise you of the time and place for the provision of care.

Please note that during our After Hours Service, we do NOT manage or provide the following:

1. Immunizations/Travel medicine

2. Allergy injections

3. Ear syringe

4. Routine physical/gynecological examinations

5. COVID-19 testing

1. Prenatal care

2. Chronic disease/pain management

3. HIV testing or treatment

4. Sexually transmitted disease screening

5. Contraception management

1. Mental health or psychiatric issues

2. Seizure disorders

3. Filling out forms (e.g., WSIB, sick notes)

4. Prescription renewals
